In numerology, names and dates become symbolic themes. Explore yours, follow the calculation, and find a question worth carrying with you.

Behind your results
How the numbers are calculated.
Life Path & Birthday
For Life Path, reduce the month, day, and year separately by adding their digits. Keep 11, 22, or 33 whenever reached. Add those three results and reduce again with the same rule. Birthday uses just the day, reduced in the same way.
For example, July 14, 1990 becomes 7 + 5 + 1 = 13 → 4. The Birthday number is 14 → 5.
Expression
The Pythagorean letter chart repeats 1–9 through A–Z. Add every letter in the name, then reduce the total, retaining 11, 22, or 33. Y is included like any other letter. Spaces and punctuation do not count.
1A · J · S
2B · K · T
3C · L · U
4D · M · V
5E · N · W
6F · O · X
7G · P · Y
8H · Q · Z
9I · R
Personal Year
Reduce your birth month, birth day, and selected calendar year to single digits, add them, then reduce again. This calculation always returns 1–9 and follows January through December.
A July 14 birthday in 2026 gives 7 + 5 + 1 = 13 → 4.
Calculation traditions & further reading
Numerology traditions use different reduction methods. ZAEMU uses the component method described above, so a calculator that adds all birth-date digits at once may return a different master number.
Use your full name at birth for the conventional Expression calculation, including middle names. You can also explore another name; the result will reflect exactly the spelling you enter. Accented Latin letters are simplified. For other alphabets, enter an A–Z transliteration.
Why does another calculator show a different result?
Some systems add every date digit at once, while others reduce the date in parts. Master-number rules also vary. Personal Year systems may start at your birthday instead of January. Open “See the calculation” to follow ZAEMU’s method.
What if a number repeats?
A repeating number offers a theme to explore in different contexts. A 4 Life Path relates to the overall birth-date interpretation; a 4 Personal Year relates to the selected year. The shared theme is structure, but the role is different.
Can I change the year or calculate for someone else?
Yes. Update the details and calculate again. Use “Clear details” to start fresh. The calculator does not keep a reading history.
